Recent Studies Highlight the Need for Affordable Housing in the Quinte Region

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation performs annual analysis of available and affordable housing throughout Canada. The results are clear. Belleville is ranked #4 in Canada for highest rental increases and # 3 in Canada for core housing need.

As housing becomes less available and more expensive, the number of people at risk of homelessness increases. Those with additional challenges, whether mental health or disability, are at even greater risk.

The housing continuum is, at its simplest, the range of housing types available in a community — from emergency shelters on one end, all the way to homeownership on the other. In between lies an assortment of housing options and types, each critically important for different people at different times. All Together Housing plays an important role in the housing marketing in Quinte, opening up the needed accommodation options for individuals and families who, otherwise, could become homeless.

Home and Hope

Since All-Together Housing first opened, it has been committed to enhancing the community and offering hope to the residents it serves.
